Dr. Ira Williams has had 3 careers.

US Air Force Retired Major – He is a Senior Navigator and private pilot. Wing Headquarters Squadron Commander & Summary Court Martial Officer 1956-57, South Korea 1954 & activated out of his Internship for the Cuban Crisis 1962. He was combat-ready in 3 different types of combat aircraft.
Board-certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon and anesthesiologist. Dr. Williams is also an expert in medical malpractice litigation and medical peer review. Dr. Williams, acting alone, organized the first major surgery mini-residency of any surgical specialty in Madison, WI in 1970. Surgeons from five states attended, and oral surgery mini-residencies became available in several university residency programs.
